For all Mumbai Lovers – “Mumbai O Mumbai…”

“Mumbai O Mumbai…”

Mumbai is rich, Mumbai is poor.
Mumbai is fast, Mumbai is slower.
Little bit sweet, and little bit sour,
Sometimes it’s hot but not too more’.

Mornings are energetic and evenings are electric.
Noons are lazy but Nights are crazy
And any one you ask he always say “M busy”
Dude, life in Mumbai” Is not so easy

There is lot of Masti with little bit of Maska
Welcome to the city that can’t live, without Bollywood Chaska

From cooker whistles to the traffic jam horns,
From steaming tea kettles to breaking nut-bettles
From telephone rings and doorbell brings.
There are people connecting through Blackberry pings

Where there’s little time to spare for kids
People here spend their lives on bids
Here you actually pay your travel fare by meter
But milkman mixing water is not a cheater!

Sev puri and bhel puri are all Mumbai chaat
Relishing it with spicy chutney is no easy art
From popcorn to ice-cream, all sold on cart
Mumbai o Mumbai, you’re always close to my heart

Where local trains usually run on time
And violently rushing for a seat is not a crime
Here 3 PM for lunch and 12 AM to dine
People face hardships, but still say “it’s fine”

From Mt Mary in Bandra to Mumba Devi in Town
And ISKCON in Juhu to Haji Ali in Mumbai’s Crown
Faith runs deep as the Arabian Sea
But people don’t hesitate to pay early darshan fee.

Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati and Bengali
Everyone together celebrate Id and Diwali
Holi is colorful and Christmas is cheerful
Spend some time here and your life will be unforgetful

Billionaires to beggars, all found in this city
Be careful dude, this place is a bit witty.
Overall this dreamworld is huge but pretty

Mumbai o Mumbai you’re a wonderful city.

Hollywood movie dubbed in hindi

Bollywood is the informal term popularly used for the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), Maharashtra, India.

The term is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema; it is only a part of the total Indian film industry, which includes other production centers producing films in regional languages.

Bollywood is the largest film producer in India and one of the largest centers of film production in the world.

Hollywood

Hollywood is a district in Los Angeles, California – situated west-northwest of Downtown Los Angeles.

Due to its fame and cultural identity as the historical center of movie studios and movie stars, the word “Hollywood” is often used as a metonym of American cinema.

Today, much of the movie industry has dispersed into surrounding areas such as the Westside neighborhood, but significant auxiliary industries, such as editing, effects, props, post-production, and lighting companies remain in Hollywood, as does the backlot of Paramount Pictures.

Dubbing : The Magic & Fun

Dubbing is the post-production process of recording and replacing voices on a motion picture or television soundtrack subsequent to the original shooting.

The term most commonly refers to the substitution of the voices of the actors shown on the screen by those of different performers, who may be speaking a different language.

The procedure was sometimes practised in musicals when the actor had an unsatisfactory singing voice, and remains in use to enable the screening of audio-visual material to a mass audience in countries where viewers do not speak the same language as the original performers. “Dubbing” also describes the process of an actor’s re-recording lines spoken during filming and which must be replaced to improve audio quality or reflect dialog changes.

This process is called automated dialogue replacement, or ADR for short. Music is also dubbed onto a film after editing is completed.

Films, videos and sometimes video games are often dubbed into the local language of a foreign market. Dubbing is common in theatrically released film, television series, cartoons and anime given foreign distribution.

Bandra Fair 2010 Mount Mary

Bandra Fair 2010

I was eagerly waiting or Bandra Fair 2010 to start, as its one of the days i really think back on my good old kiddy days!!!

This year Bandra Fair was from Sunday 12th September till Sunday 19th September 2010 late night.

I tried my level best to go on the first day, cause that’s the most important day….. But i couldn’t make it.

It was not possible for me to go during the weekdays!!

So finally my fiancee and myself decided to go on the last day i.e. Sunday 19th September 2010 and we made it.

I must say it was the first time, that there was less crowd during the fest.

But it was FUN!!!
